The reapperance of the Akkronians triggers a series of events that force Zagor to go back to Mount Naatani, where Hellingen and the aliens had their operative HQ. The mysterious alien devices that had been left there and were inactive for many years, all of a sudden seem to spring into life! The scientists in the Elsewhere base record the machines’ awakening and send their agents to investigate. Meanwhile, in the Darkwood forest, a giant and unstoppable Native warrior is spreading death! And his target is the Spirit-with-the-Hatchet!
