Having forced the desperado, Macedo, to take them by boat to El Caribe’s den (a pirate that has kidnapped Lacroix, designer of a new submarine, on behalf of a foreign power), the pards shipwreck on the island of San Fernando. And while Carson, injured during the landing, ends up in the hands of the scoundrels, Tex finds unexpected help in Santiago, an ex-smuggler shipwrecked sailor who hates the plunderers, invaders of his little island. Moving through the jungle, silent as snakes, the two steal into El Caribe’s block-house, free the prisoners and arrest the leader of the pirates.
