General Stonewell, hindered with every means by Tex and Carson, gives up the punitive expedition against the Indians and withdraws to Fort Walsh, where the wise General Davis, his superior, is waiting for him to relieve him of the assignment. Meanwhile, the Sioux chiefs, gathered on the Sacred Mountain, are undecided: many of them would like to go on the war path, and among these the fiery Lupo Zoppo. The rebel thus makes a plan with the scout, Zanoby, to have Nuvola Bianca, in favor of peace, killed and to trap Tex. Chance has it that the clash takes place before planned and Lupo Zoppo ends up dead!
