The pards and Drake pull Tom Devlin out of the clutches of the Nootka Indians and the two ugly mugs that had had him kidnapped in order to rule uncontested over San Francisco, Inspector Linder and the financier, Munro, are unmasked precisely while they are toasting their short-lived success! Some time later, in Gallup, the bandit Fraser escapes from a railroad car with the help of the corrupt Sheriff Beckman and the fiend’s partners injure Kit Willer. Tex and Carson pursue the gang, which in the meantime has already weeded itself out: there is a hidden bundle in question and nobody wants to share it with the others!
