The brawny Captain Drake, locked up in Alcatraz, has found out that the vice police chief, Linder, and Alex Munro, important handler of dirty money, have had the police chief of San Francisco, Tom Devlin, a big hindrance to the underworld, kidnapped. Thanks to the unmentionable acquaintances of attorney Bixler’s, Tex and Carson – with a couple of false uniforms and some documents forged by Sam Brennan – organize Black Beard’s escape! Discovered at the last minute, our heroes save themselves with a spectacular dive into the misty waters of the bay.
