To escape the Blackfoot Indians incited by the hired ruffians of Caudill, a shady character hired by the corrupt Canadian minister, Fairbanks, and by his United States financial consultants, to sabotage a new railroad, the pards and Sergeant Wilding, Jim Brandon’s messenger, face the Red River rapids and end up besieged against a rocky wall! All seems lost, but the courageous Fronte Alta’s Flatheads put the rebel Native Americans to rout and our heroes head for the tavern of the slimy Jean Morisse, where Wilding had been drugged to intercept Brandon’s dispatch addressed to Tex.
