A handful of bandidos led by Juanito, rival of the boss Pedroza, falls into the trap laid by Tex in Escondido, the old mission that hides a fortune in silver. But the rotters get free, killing Father Ramòn, the hermit guardian of the treasure, and one of them, having avoided the rangers’ bullets, flees to Charango, the criminals’ den! Up until then, because of the ghostly stories repeated to the scoundrels by Carson and by Kit Willer dressed as monks, the desperados had stayed away from the monastery. But now they attack, ending up buried under tons of rock blown up by the pards with dynamite!
