The Drake with the fire breath, the Basilisk with the killing gaze, the two-headed Anphisbena, the great Roc bird: these are only some examples of the imaginary and terrifying fauna who roamed the faraway lands described in the medieval “Bestiaries”. Was it just imagination, or those “impossible creatures” were the last remnants of species that inhabited the Earth in forgotten times? An impervious gully in the mountains of Wallachia is home to a secret complex, where for centuries the now rare specimens of those legendary beasts are imprisoned. From that inaccessible place, somebody calls the Detective of the Impossible for help...
