Zagor and Chico arrive at Fort Bravery, a military outpost that also houses the officers’ families and that is commanded by Colonel Maddenbrook, whose son Walter has graduated from the WestPoint military academy with the rank of lieutenant. Walter, however, is not enamored of a military career, which is a family tradition, and would like to leave the army. But, in order not to make his father suffer, he agrees to lead the expedition against the Shawnee Indians. And it will be his undoing…
