The being that torments the inhabitants of Stormy Pass is a lycanthrope, a man who, during the nights when there is a full moon, turns into a werewolf. And it can be anyone because, as an old popular belief assures, “Even a man with a pure heart can turn into a wolf when the aconite blooms or the new moon shines!”
