The bloodthirsty General Carrasco would like to hire the Band of the Irish but the Feinian revolutionaries rebel and the pards erupt into the Mexican block-house, causing pandemonium to break out, magnified by a deadly machine gun controlled in turn by Carson and by Tex. When Montales arrives with reinforcements he finds only ruins and the Emperor’s treasure returns to the legitimate government! But it’s not over: the arms merchant, Gutierrez, for whom Shane was supposed to find the gold, pays Moran to betray and kill his friend. The pards avenge him but O’Donnell dies, dreaming of Ireland.
