Tex and Carson arrive too late to save the two Pinkerton agents from the hands of their killers, who try to silence the two rangers also, but they roll down into hell! In Washington there is a plot to kill the president of the United States and the murdered detectives knew too many things. Contacted by the “Santa Fe Journal”, the pards arrive in town and, after having defended Captain Grady, blinded in war, they speak with the reporter, Martin London, spied on by the editor of the newspaper, one of the conspirators… like many other local bigwigs!
