Having accepted the assignment from the Pinkerton Agency to clean up the Mississippi of the pirates that sign their crimes with the Jolly Roger, the pards kill three of the band of the skull’s ne’er-do-wells on the Majestic, subsidized by a river shipowner, the wicked Coleman, to unfairly eliminate the competition! And, seeing that one of the deceased frequented the Perroquet of Baton Rouge, the rangers rush into the tavern, managed by the not very trustworthy Papà Gaston, to get information. At the end of a fight, Tex and Carson are approached by the pretty waitress, Nadine, and lured into a trap on the mail boat for New Orleans.
