Even the engineer, Remick, director of the Bendito gold center, maintains having seen the terrifying snake man. Thus, first Tex and then Carson lower themselves into the monster’s den, a rocky well that gives off a terrible stench of death, discovering that a rotten corpse lies on the bottom! A macabre discovery to be investigated, but the pards can no longer climb back up because Remick and the miner who were holding their ropes have mysteriously disappeared, and a disquieting figure moves in the underground maze-like bowels!
