Escondida is an old bewitched mission. The pards set up their headquarters here to disinfest southern Arizona from Pedroza’s ferocious desperados, plunderers of mining towns and murderers. An emaciated hermit hides inside the ruins of Escondida, Ramòn, who is the guardian of a treasure of silver ingots, property of the church, escaped fifty years earlier from a ferocious Apache raid. And now the rich booty serves as bait to lure Pedroza’s ruffians, who hide in Charango after each robbery, into a trap.
