Tex and the Navajo, Tiuba, friend of Billy Stanton’s (the half-breed who was had killed by his half-brother, Sam, for inheritance disputes) investigate at the Double S Ranch, where Sam has just killed his father during an argument! The lack of proof against the degenerate son forces the pards to leave, hunted down by a cloud of hired-assassins! A tragedy is played out under the Comanche moon: Tiuba kills the vile Sam, but is sent in his turn to the heavenly prairies. A while later, having arrived in Silver Pine to help the authorities, Tex discovers that the sheriff has been eliminated by a group of local squires.
