The miscreant Tex and Tiger Jack delivered to the sheriff of Virginia City has escaped and does his best to kill them, but he only manages to wound the elderly charioteer Fred Lindeman. So the two pards agree to lead the convoy themselves, which has been organized by an expedition of paleontologists heading for the North, in the land of the Klamath Indians, where they plan to join up with a colleague. One of the members of the convoy is the rough and hot-tempered Lacey, always spoiling for a fight and quicker with his whip than his tongue: Tex has hard work trying to calm the boiling spirits, especially when the ominous shadow of the Sasquatch creeps over the group!
