The Black Dragon, hunted by the pards, returns to his den to set it on fire, in an attempt to destroy the proof of his shady opium trafficking activities. But it is too late! When his true identity which was previously beyond all suspicion – is discovered, the Black Dragon attempts one last sortie, ending up crushed under the wheels of a stagecoach! The octopus’ head has been cut off, now it is time to go after the tentacles: thus Kit Willer and Tiger Jack concentrate on Hermosillo, searching for don Manuel Benavides, a rich hacendero guardian of the drug storehouses.
