Carson and Tiger Jack’s arrival in Robber City, at the head of the Dennison volunteers, marks the end of Johnny Lingo’s riff-raff, already compromised by internal fighting and by the fires set by Tex to their den. A while later, tailing a gang of arms traffickers, Tex arrives at Goldena and straightens out Fraser, a cowardly card-sharper who, following the ranger’s advice, is whipped out of town. Fraser, however, swears revenge! He is the leader of the gun smuggling and stirs up the bloodthirsty Apaches of his accomplice, Wa-Ha-Tah, against the defenseless people of Goldena.
