The Man of Death, impersonated by Tex, averts the Indian war that the arms traffickers wanted to stir up because of the gold discovered in Navajo territory. Shortly afterwards, the pards intervene in Sandy Rock to make the breeder Rickett, who has occupied government pastures and kicked out Farris the shepherd, see reason. Meanwhile, Eski-Mayo, sachem of the Sabinas, dies under mysterious circumstances: his son, Too-Nai, would be his legitimate heir, but the witch doctor, Tabual, supports the violent Mai-Koo: the one who manages to recover a silver idol stolen by the Red Dogs will be the new chief!

In this issue: the preceding adventure extends from page 3 to page 34 (artwork by Galeppini); from page 35 to page 98, “Sangue sui pascoli” (artwork by Galeppini and Gamba); from page 99 to page 130, “Lo stregone dei Sabinas” (artwork by Galeppini and Gamba).
