Gordon, in continuous disagreement with his accomplice, Stella, tries in every way, but in vain, to get rid of the Rangers. His saloon, the Golden Nugget of Montezuma, gets turned topsy-turvy with kicks and fists by Pat Mac Ryan: to save his skin, the scoundrel blurts out everything concerning the trap set up by Transpacific against Kansas Pacific. On the way back, Dynamite goes lame and Tex makes a forced stop in Fullertown, a town that has fallen into the hands of the Brenton family, rancheros and cattle thieves who rage against Charlie Prescot’s farms. Willer intervenes with disguises and raids.
