The raids of the young Cheyenne, Lungo Coltello, supported by the sachem Testa di Pietra, risk stirring up an Indian war. The Native Americans attack a wagon belonging to Gorman’s ranch and kidnap his daughter, Lisa, running away from Tex and Carson’s colts. The pards, having reached the farm, withstand the rebels’ ferocious attacks until the cavalry arrives. Tex then heads for Testa di Pietra’s camp to obtain the girl’s release and avoid the army’s intervention, but Lungo Coltello doesn’t give in and suffers a humiliating defeat in a duel with Aquila della Notte.
