Sergeant Fenner, the brain of the swindle at the expense of the Navajos (who should have accepted a herd reduced to a bunch of walking skeletons), is heavily “massaged” by the rangers and sent to the lock-up in Gallup with all of his accomplices! But the troubles are not over: four bandits rob the banker, Douglas, and his daughter, Rita, in town and Tular’s fierce Zuni are essential for finding them! The following summer, Teddy, one of the two sons of Ralph Milton – an old friend of the pards who is dying on his ranch in Nakaibito – is done for by two hired-assassins…
