The furious Mexican soldiers shoot at Tex, Tiger Jack and George Morrow, convinced by the pards not to cede the patent for his new gun to Mexico. Only the intervention of the not very angelic inhabitants of Pequeño Paraiso, where the lieutenant had hidden, allows our heroes to get out of the trap into which they had fallen! A while later, Tex and Carson avoid a flood caused by five shady blackguards who had blown up a lake upstream from Pinto Creek: the orders are to drown the farmers who hinder the expansion of the estate of the local squire, the one-time colonel Remington!
