A black man risks being hung on the gallows for murder: he has discovered a terrible truth about his boss, a swine called Warner, and he’s been framed by this blackguard! Tex rebels against this injustice, and with the unexpected help of an inveterate card-sharper he barricades himself in the office of the Sheriff of Henderson, while the raging crowd close in on the improvised block-house. Intervention by Carson saves the pard, but the black and the harmless old gambler get killed. As for Warner, he sinks in a river with his booty.
