The Canadian rebel “Big Bear” commits his last bastardly deed by trying to knife Tex Willer, but the ranger blocks him and ties him up to despatch him to the judges in Great Falls! Some time later, in Colorado, a gang of murderers carries out vicious armed robberies at the expense of John Walcott, the honest owner of the Golden Well mines: a couple of Pinkterton’s officers get shot dead during the investigations, and it turns out that a ring decorated with an eagle and a thunderbolt which he wore on a finger has been removed. Tex and Carson are entrusted with the task of shedding light on the murky goings-on.
