At Great Falls, the bastardly starver of Indians Nick Billing, smelling a storm in the air, sends three killers against Tex and Carson, managing only to be given a good thrashing by the two rangers, who have penetrated his hideout by night to look for evidence. In the meantime, Kit and Tiger Jack, who have stayed behind to protect the village of the undernourished Dakotas while awaiting the supplies, repel the attack by Billing’s bootlickers, sent to the camp to exterminate the surviving Indians! The day after, Tex and Carson leave Great Falls, tailed by Buck Harney's bunch of gangsters.
