Having dislodged the Fishers from their farm to protect them from the ex supervisor Klondell’s retaliations, Tex and Carson don’t give Carter, a cattle thief and arms trafficker, any respite. But snakes don’t die easily: in spite of the blows inflicted on the shady gang, which the merchant Truscott of Barstow also belongs to, the four pards fall into a diabolical trap: they are thrown to drown into a vat for tanning hides! Meanwhile, navigating along the Pecos on the boat named Isabel, the criminals head with a last load for Mexico.
