The Hualpais, under Mephisto’s orders, confront the Navajos led by Tex and Tiger Jack. And the demoniacal wizard has two exceptional allies: Kit Willer and Carson, hypnotized and subdued by him! When Tex bursts into his cove, Mephisto runs away followed by the two bewitched pards. Months later, giving himself out to be Dr. Atanas, Mephisto reappears and acts as an informer against Kit and Carson after having transformed them through hypnosis into bank robbers! The spell is broken when the wizard, under Tex’s blows, falls into a ravine… Is it over? Meanwhile, in Diamondville, an excited crowd is about to hang an innocent person...
