Uriarte sacrifices himself to save Mister No’s life, so the latter now has a “real” reason to look for Hans Martin (not Delia’s mock kidnapping ). It is on a B-24 that the contest between the two comes to a grim end. Mister No is in the advantage but the plane has an altitude sensitive self-destructing device: if the plane drops below a certain altitude, it will explode. Is this the end for Jerry?
