The attack to Earth has begun, the East Coast is sieged by the Martian forces and apparently nothing can stop the terrible tripods that are spreading death and destruction everywhere. The battle rages on in space too, while Melpomene and the Confederate Orbiting Stations are getting ready to join the Earth forces in this new war.
