When Venus Sky-Lab, the most modern, secret and impenetrable space laboratory ever built by man, stops sending communications back to Earth, the task of shedding light on the affair is entrusted to Nathan Never and the android Link. So in a joint mission between the army and the Agenzia Alfa, the two agents speed off to the laboratory on a space-ship that is under the command of Captain Zara Stephanopulos. But it very soon becomes clear that the research performed by professor Phantom and is team poses a dire threat, as testified by the lifeless bodies of the scientists involved in the experiment. And while something is prowling round the dimly lit corridors of the orbital facility, order arrives from the big shots in the army to cover up the incident… at the cost of sacrificing the life of dangerous witnesses.
