The rememberers Schiffer and Dana Casterman carry in their heads information connected with Reiser. When Schiffer is killed and the Casterman data are stolen by the rememberer Zvetan Rakos, who is in Skotos’ pay, Reiser instructs Nathan and Legs to find Rakos.
