Nathan Never is invited by District Attorney Sara McBain to her birthday party in the restaurant-cum-airship Hindenburger. A little while earlier, however, the andronoid Tony ‘dies’ because of an amoeba strikeshape that someone inserted into his body. The strikeshape attacks Nathan and he manages to kill it. But when the agent goes to the party at Sara’s, he has to contend with a jealous secret admirer…
