The Smith family, of the small town of Four Rocks in the Territory neighbourhood, has mysteriously disappeared. Christen Smith, the daughter, employs Nathan Never in order to find her parents and brother. The sole trace that Nathan manages to uncover is the testimony of the eccentric Hepzibah who says that the Smiths were kidnapped by aliens. But clues seem to point to the town doctor, Alexei Polonov, who is connected to the dubious Rasch Company…
