An enormous underwater hotel, on the seabed off the island of Kolokai, is the target of attacks by a dangerous species of mutant men-fishes. But Dan Rooper, the owner, can rely on the help of two quite exceptional friends, not a whit less combative than trusty: Legs and May! But why on earth, despite the fact that Roger has had the waters sanitized, do the incursions continue ceaselessly? Our agents’ suspicions very soon begin to point in a definite direction, but then the investigations are thrown off course by a sudden complication: a terrible anomalous wave is said to be about to come crashing in!
