L'enigma del Sator

For centuries two rival gnostic sects have been clashing with each other, determined to fight to the bitter end: this battle caused the fire in Rome in 64 A.D., the disastrous explosion that destroyed Pompeii and many other disasters set off by fire. The objective pursued by the followers of “Rtor” is the destruction of the world, to leave space for a new creation, while the followers of “Sator” want the world to continue on its journey undisturbed. Martin Mystère becomes involved when he is investigating the death of a scholar who fell victim to this centuries-old feud.
