A very ancient menace, which remained dormant for thousands of years, is aroused and lets loose a devastating folly generated by “sigma waves”, radiations capable of amplifying sensory perception to the point of inducing hallucinatory visions. It is up to the Detective of the Impossible, along with Java and his friend, scientist Bernard Kneale, to try to resolve the situation.
