Called to Sardinia by his friend Von Hansen, Martin, Diana and Java find the archeologist in a coma in the hospital of Nuoro. The doctors don’t know what caused the coma and Mystère decides to reconstruct the events of his friend’s last hours. The trail of the investigation leads to the Golgo ravine, where among the underground passages, pre-historic funerary cells and Etruscan inscriptions our heroes find themselves face to face with no less than the Scultone, a monstrous reptile that tries to kill them!
