The "Witch of Endor" has sunk and her load of rifles for the patriots has been lost. Or so it seems, at least... But the Kickapoos Indians are in revolt and provided with wonderful brand new rifles, with which they will lay an ambush for the Ontario Wolves, precisely there, at the pass of the Three Hawks! The English are besieged at Portland and the situation is stalled. A saber duel between Mark and the English champion, Major Davenport, might resolve the situation, but the greatest danger does not come from the cold iron but rather from the hatred burning in the heart of a woman...
