Zagor, Tonka and their brave Native allies recover the black stone that was stolen by Dark Moon; to stop him from creating new monsters with it, they plan to destroy the object. The only way to achieve this seems to throw it in the boiling lava of a volcano. While the Spirit-with–the–Hatchet is on the verge of the ebullient mountain, the evil sorcerer with the tattooed face, along with the remaining monsters from his horde tries everything to stop our hero.
