A men is wandering all over the Frontier, recruiting people with nothing to lose, to stage nightly no-rule death fights pitting modern-day gladiators one against the other. The name of the wicked impresario is Elias Van Dergaard; and he's employing an undefeated champion, the giant called Shamrock, who's wearing on his neck a strange lucky charm. Elias stole it from a Dakota medicine man, after killing him, and now young warrior Brave Wolf wants to seize the charm, that could make its owner invincible. Zagor joins Brave Wolf, in order to seek vengeance for the deceased medicine man, and stop Van Dergaard's deadly machine!
