The mummy of the ancient Sumerian king Dumizi, donated by Professor Dexter Green to the museum of Richmond, is no simple archeological relic. For worshippers of the cult of Namtar, the circumstance of its having been purloined from the temple where his royal remains lay in repose constitutes a blasphemous act to be avenged with blood. And this is not all: the various enemies Zagor, Cico and Bat Batteron will have to contend with include another archeologist who happens to be a rival of Green’s, namely a certain Professor Richter, interested in a diadem endowed with sinister powers that formed part of the mummy’s funerary accessories, and then there’s also Velasquez, a swashbuckling Mexican…
