Zagor finds a dead man who grips the piece of a map in his fist that indicates the place in which a group of bandits had hidden the gold stolen in a robbery. This is what Endicott, a Pinkerton agent, tells Zagor and Chico. The King of Darkwood tries to reconstruct the map but the trail is sown with corpses!
