In the Great Lakes region, the Menominee Indians contend with the Winnebagos for the hunting territory. In order to avoid a war, Colonel Steenway proposes that the best warriors of the two tribes confront each other in a game of baggatigway, a sport that is similar to present day rugby. The Winnebagos, however, need an exceptional player in order to win, and they recruit Zagor!
