Zagor and Chico receive a message from Miwok, chief of the Munsees. While they are going to see him, they run into Robson, the engineer, who is building a new railroad in the area but is pursued by a mysterious blackmailer, who kills without leaving a trace. Zagor cannot stop because he must run to the aid of his Indian friends. However, once he reaches their village, he doesn’t find anyone, except…
