Treated by the likeable witch doctor, Many Eyes (who wears glasses and believes more in the white man’s remedies than in those of his people), Zagor manages to free Howard’s son: he had been kidnapped by a white merchant who intended to cause an Indian war. But Kraus does not want to withdraw his mercenaries: the Black Wolves attack the Indian villages anyway!
