As an ancestral heritage, isolated villages in Corsica still have their own shamans. They’re called “mazzéri” and are endowed with a terrible power: they can kill people in their dreams. While she’s in Corsica for her anthropological researches, the charming Sophie Mutter becomes obsessed by the gaze of a mysterious woman. During the night, in the village of Falcinaccia, Sophie witnesses a horrendous ghost parade and is taken inside a dream, through wild forests and harsh mountains: the hunt begins! The wolf killed by the girl will show the face of her beloved Harlan and, on waking up, Sophie will find herself smeared in blood and mud: the horror begins! Harlan’s fate is doomed. The wound he suffered in the dream is spreading like a cancer, death is getting near, and nothing can avoid Sophie her fate of calamitous prophetess; an army of dead “mazzéri” threatens to decimate the people of Falcinaccia in an oneiric battle, the bloody “mandrache”...
