Every large and historical city has corners where the past left its vestiges, places full of a peculiar character. Paris prides herself with several “magic spots”, and the person who’d be able to control them all would gain great power. Maître Abel, a.k.a. the Taxidermist, an admirer and follower of alchemist Aleister Crowley, is a collector of “magic spots” in Paris. The only one who always eluded him is the richest in magical and evil power: the mysterious Rue du Sortilège. Abel is determined to find out where the enchanted street is, to bring the beautiful vampire Araxe de Kercadio there, and subjugate her to his will. Only Victor, anarchist poet and friend of Harlan Draka, know where Araxe is hiding. To force him to betray his immortal lover, Abel will show Victor the true, hideous face of Araxe, in an adventure that takes place in the hidden and most colourful corners of the Rive Gauche, along the streets of the ancient Latin Quarter…
