England, 1940… London is under a hail of bombs, but while the civilian population is being decimated by the Third Reich’s attack from the air, another war is being fought out in the corridors of power. Among the high-ranking figures, not all of them are enemies of Germany. Lord De Vere and other conspirators, in agreement with some exponents of MI6, Her Majesty’s Secret Service, are urging that a separate peace be signed.
